It does matter, because when it comes to sales I don't like dealing in hypotheticals: I'd like to eventually see one side of the bet play out.

And like I said: it's hard to say. A very (very) large number of PS3 owners in Japan may have bought it just for this game, but the Modern Warefare fanbase is already in full force in the US and its bundle sales are going to have thei legs cut out from under them thanks to that.

Well, I still say that's subjective, and the guy who pointed out FF #s on a single console REALLY makes me believe that statement is subjective. COD 4 isn't console exclusive, which is how it got those 12+mill sales WW. But on NO console has a COD game EVER eclipsed 9mill, as FF has done...
