Popularity is not subjective.

Well, in that case, how can we PROVE which one is more popular. We're talking about full-on popularity here. You're saying, all over the world, that COD>FF? How can we prove that?

Serious question too, not harm meant...

Sales. Sales are the only mtric of popularity to which you and I have easy access. Well, I suppose you could also take online play as an indicator of continued popularity, which shows that Call of Duty is still being played by more people than Final Fantasy.

The idea is that more people play Call of Duty, therefore it is more popular.
