As I've said before considering all the CoD hype on the PS3 and 360 it's going to get Wii buyers in there asking for somehting similar and Modern Warfare will have the same brand and be right there. Actually probably the reason World at War sold well on the Wii.

I'm not going to make any bold predictions here but I'm thinking it'll at least be able to do 500,000 on Wii. Would go as high to even say 1.5 million. Huge range of course but we'll just have to see how this Wii holiday season turns out.

I myself will get it as I liked the controls of WaW bettenr than COD4 on PS3.

but i doubt it will sell more than 2million as all those lame excuses coming out and also because the game is old.

Just because people have different standards and tastes it doesn't mean they are lame or whiners.

it is lame, because look at it this way. if it was a old zelda game from gamecube upgraded to wii it would sell millions.

COD4 is great enough for it to e a old game and still sell well.

what I am trying to say is that they always bitch about not getting great 3rd party games, but when they come they never buy them because of X reason.

Nintendo remakes never get this kind of bs. lets face it, alot of Nintendo owners only buy nintendo games and pretent to be interested in 3rd party.

Madden is a sports game. Entirely different genre. Nintendo hasn't been known to have a traditional sports game base since the original NES.

That's like saying that McDonald's doesn't do well in towns full of vegetarians.

Why don't you just take the example of COD: WaW like I suggested, since it's linked to the IP and its the same genre? It's relevant and a better sample for the discussion at hand.

@Garnett - I play Cod: Waw on the wii regulrarly, the online experience is great. I can't see why Treyarch would do any less with the CoD 4 online.

This is a very frustrating statement. You make two assumptions (1), that marijuana will negatively affect one's life to the point of ruining it and (2), that anybody doing pot does so because of serious problems that, instead of talking about, they smother with a THC haze.

This is nothing but ignorance. I have: a well paying a job. An attractive, funny, intelligent girlfriend. A close, diverse circle of good friends. Several published short stories. A 3.8 GPA in the fall of my senior year. Ambitious plans to teach abroad following graduation, then return for a few years of grad school and get my masters. I am a triple-athlete; run 3-4 miles 4 or 5 days a week and spend over two hours in the gym working out my entire body 3 days a week.

I also smoke pot a few times a week.

I am happy, healthy, succesful, adjusted, intelligent, self-realized, and proud of myself. I do not at all consider any of this being "despite" marijuana usage. So, please, other than 5th grade D.A.R.E. classes, prejudiced older people, and "educationial" pamphlets handed out at the docter's office, where do you get these misapprehensions about marijuana?
