Nintendo will be slashing the price of the DSi today.

I have spoken to friends of mine at a retail chain and they sent out a memo stating the price cut would be released tomorrow

Our source can’t remember if it is $174 or $179 Canadian with it’s current price point of $199 thats a nice difference

other sources point to $169 for American gamestop locations and that may mean that there is no cut for American stores

The DSi was a bit overpriced. They dropped the price on the DS early in it's life for the same reason (and it hasn't seen one since).

Does that site have any credibility? I'm not seeing it on any other sites.

Uhm if this is true the arguement that "Ninty can't cut Wii's price to 200$ beacuse it's too near to DSi price" is not longer valid...good thing for DS! Back to 400k?
