Wii sold 277K in august

& it sold 252K in July

so according to NPD we can see it got a 25K bump

WSR must have helped.....but is a 25K bump good enough?

Yeah, it's about sustaining momentum or offsetting the decline. We'll see what it does in the long run, after it's had one...

well see how it plays out over the next couple weeks. If wii sales continue to drop then it obviously wasnt enough and nintendo will have to implement other strategies this holiday season

Unlike Japan the Wii is bundled with Wii Sports so it makes no sense there is a bump on hardware sales. Iwata was terribly wrong with its predictions.
