What genre are the neglecting?

JRPG's (Majorly), WRPG's (Majorly), Platformers.

look when I say FPS I COUNT all the 3rd party ones too.....so PS3 isn't being neglected on that front, why is SONY spending time doing what 90% of 3rd party's release on PS360

PS3 should get more JRPG (nothing worth mentioning on the quality scale)

WRPG's ( yeah it has oblivion, fallout 3......and....nothing),

platformers (R&C, LBP......and.....nothing else good review wise)

On the other hand with FPS's PS3 has (Resistance, Killzone, COD every year, Battlefield Bad Company......and many more 80's metacritic quality ones)

so what is lacking? it aint the FPS genre for sure!

Lets see..... Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Section 8, Perfect Dark Zero, Halo: ODST, Halo Reach. More are coming as well. Halo is still a the threat here whether you want to see it or not.

WE NEED MOAR VERSATILLTY, it doesn't even NEED to be JRPG's (would be nice for moar though...) but damn if this keeps up ima call t3h PS3's the new Xbox 1!

I agree. Come on Sony, even the most die-hard of FPS fans are beginning to hate shooters! 3 FPSs? That's more than most shooter fans have ever played in their entire life!

THREE FUCKING GAMES. One of them sucked. One was a launch title. I suppose you'd rather they made 10 billion JRPGs every week?

So i crossed out the Halo games, games not yet released, and anything below 80 on Meta.

FPS - KZ2, R1, R2 - 3

Platformer - LBP, R&CF: TOD, R&CF:CIT, R&C:QFB - 3.5

JRPGs - WKC, Demons Soul - 2

looks pretty balanced. Sony never really had a RPG developer. They just relied on SE

I want:

1. Low latency controls
2. 2/4 player split screen coop
3. Vehicles
4. 60FPS
5. Open maps.
6. Mod support.

In no particular order.

I stop caring about the graphics about 10 minutes after I start playing but I never forget about the gameplay. Screw the visuals, give me something thats wicked fun to play!

But...But... Guvna'! 

They could be talking about Resistance 3 (I didn't read anything from the link, just a thought)
