Oh and BHR-3 is the person who had the best prediction for console sales last christmas...there was a thread TWRoo made about console predictions throughout the holidays of 2008, BHR-3 won that.

Do some background research on him before belittling him next time.

I bet it could peak at 1 million for one week during the holidays. I mean it should sell in the better half of a million this week so why not during Christmas time.

Its OK darth back in the day hundreds of years ago prophets and witches were banished, killed, and criticized for there predictions aswell

idk y he has to say prove things or my chums it wasnt meant for him to prove things to me i just wanted 2 give him a chance to change my sig or pic

but if u look at the thread twroo made it just shows my prediction powers not only did i dominate the competition but i was to only 1 to know that the wii wouldnt have a peak week of over 2mill everybody else had it at 2-2.5mill this year i dont think the wii will peak as high as it did last year i dont think it will even get to 1.5mill

i just dont understand how any1 could think that the ps3 wont have a peak week of over 1 mill wen last year the 360 almost did it

its clear that the ps3 will have the same if not more momentum this year that the 360 had last since the slim launch its clearly won the price cut wars between it and the 360

throw in that ps3 has more selling power than the 360 in JP an EU that tells me that it will easily sell more than the 360 did last year wen it had the advantage oh yeah and FF and gt5 wont hurt nothing

Slim just did ~600k this last week with no notable releases.

GT5 is all but confirmed, and FF XIII hits Japan on the 17th...I see a million week being unavoidable with these two titles.

b/c if he wins that ps3 will outsell the wii in Dec he will truly have earned God status here on VGC

I am 100% sure it will sell over 1 million at least once this holiday.

you guys do realize most of the sales from week one were pent up demand after a very long period of price point saturation right?

on top of that it would be foolish to push both out in the same week, that would reduce over all purchases maybe back to back, but staggering it by two weeks to spread out across pay checks would make far more sense. 

all i have to say is you are overly optimistic and will be very disapointed, i have no doubt these games will be million sellers on day one hell maybe even in the first 4 hours, but consoles do not move as well for games this late in the life of the console, the price drop is in power not the games

Difficult, but not impossible, there are big titles launching and the week including Xmas includes 4 working days before it too.
