Forums - Sales - So 360 Sales rose 43% in UK, What Will PS3's RISE Be?! (Predict)

http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=5016

If the news isn't out already, xbox 360 sales rose by HOLY LOT OF AN AMOUNT.....43%

What do you think PS3's rise will be,

Hints:

Price drop was of around only £25 - £35 in UK (yes I saw PS3's for £275 in may)

Slim Launched

ZERO TV Ads from what I've seen (EDIT: people claim there have been a few adverts)

One more thing

when I went into the town centre today, PS3 Slim WASN'T SOLD OUT.....take from that what you will!

PS3 sold 6,926 last wekk (so note Big increases will mean BIG % change as it sold so little)!

____________

What do you think PS3's % rise will be?

Will it outsell Xbox 360 next week, or as kowenicki says does UK = 360?

I think a %30 increase this holiday and %60 increase when GT5 releases.

Its a £50 price cut. RRP £300 -> £250.

There will be a bigger percentage rise for the PS3 Slim.

well sony doesnt want to advertise the new ps3 slim or the price drop, so im not sure.

advertising would have helped alot, dont get why they wouldnt advertise

It's going to be massive.
@Aion
It's going to be alot more then 30%, I assure you.

They are advertising the Slim on TV, I saw an ad yesterday. And one in a newspaper which is better than nothing. So I would hope at least 50%.

@tombi

yeah but no-one was selling it for £299.99

I still think that UK is going to always be more of a 360 area or pretty much equal at best for the PS3! Here in the UK i have seen a few PS3 Slim ads so they are going about, and they have advertised it pretty heavily in the stores in my city so i hope the rise in sales will be impressive

~300% compared to the previous week.

yea there have been some tv adverts in the uk, seen about 5 since last week wednesday.
