We all know Mario Galaxy will be awesome.

Question is can Rare continue the awesome N64 series Banjo Kazooie?

It will be okay, but it won't compare to the greatness of it's predecessors.

I hope they can, for the sake of a memorable franchise, but i must admit, i don't have a lot of faith in them

The orginal team is working on it so I'm willing to bet it is going to be something special...

Anyone who thinks Rare has lost its edge has not played Viva Pinata.

No sorry, go play n64's ones if you want a good banjo platformer.

Rare has lost its edge. 

Let's not forget Jet Force Gemini, one of the most underappreciated games in the Rare canon.

Though they have struggled recently, at least they are showing signs of improvement. There's no reason not to give them the benefit of the doubt, at least until some concrete information on the game surfaces.
