Gears from a technical standpoint.

Theses graphical comparisons really are not fair. The architecture of the PS3 means that in order to maintain a healthy frame rate a lot of the graphical flourishes available to artists cannot be used in gameplay.

This is always going to be the case.

The only game that still impress me Graphically after playing killzone 2 is MGS4

its just looks sharper and the characters models are amazing. (IMO of course)

MGS4, it may have a slight lower resolution but all internal environments are 60FPS, so my vote goes for MGS4. GoW2 has way too much 2D sprites for my PC gamer eyes to enjoy.

It's very close...for me MGS4 has possibly the best character models in gaming today, the octocamo was really well done...but apart from that, I say Gears 2 is the better looking game by a very very VERYYYYY narrow margin!
