hmm I checked that list out even octomania (fuck knows what it is) got a 66. That aint too bad haha.

It's a puzzle game, with a lot of anime art. I have a copy. I wouldn't put it up there with the top puzzlers, but it's a good game.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Ehh, it doesn't matter. Reviewers are biased against the Wii anyways.

Etc.

Hmmmm.

I think Conspiracy has also published both Rocord of Lodoss War & the Dreamcast version of Bangai-Oh in the US, didn't they?

so does it still count as shovelware if its good?

Fucked if I know.

Define shovelware. Define casual, hardcore, mature, core, AAA, analyst and videogame journalist while you're at it.

Shovelware: Games that I don't like and look cheaply made, usually on the Wii.

Casual: Everything I don't like.

Hardcore: Everything I like, usually exclusive to non Nintendo systems.

Core: A term used in the place of hardcore when you are dealing with people who already know what hardcore means. This way they are less suspicious and probably won't attack you for being an elitist.

AAA: A game with the potential to kill the Wii.

Analyst: A well paid person who barely knows anything about video games, yet still talks about them a lot of times.

Video game journalist: Clueless people who can't think for themselves, so they contact analysts to get a story.

You forgot mature.

It's an odd day when IGN makes you lose all faith in them and redeems themselves simultaneously, between that idiotic article that asserted that Xbox makes more profit than Wii, and then their review of this

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Low budget game with horrible quality just to make quick money (mostly targeting the casual crowd)

The problem is people think ports are shovelware, and porting is not cheap to do.
