Forums - Nintendo - What will Nintendo show at their 2009 Fall Media Conference?

I was gonna try to find everything that has been announced at the last two Nintendo Fall Media Conferences but that didn't work out :P

So instead I'm just gonna ask, what do you guys think will be shown this year keeping in mind what Nintendo has shown in the past. It is quite possible that they show smaller early 2011 titles as was the case with Sin and Punishment 2 and Endless Ocean 2. It's also likely they may show a few titles for early 2010 release.

i think Legend of Zelda, a trailer perhaps.
or a bit of info atleast, they did mention that they can show a trailer anytime right?

At their last conference, they announced a bunch of cool games, like Punch-Out, Sin & Punishment 2, and Mario & Luigi 3. They actually gave both Wii and DS big montages of games the likes of which they used to do at E3. The year before that they showed Smash Bros footage for the first time.

They already have a very solid lineup for the rest of the year, so anything they show here will be gravy. I'd put money on at least one piece of software for the Vitality Sensor, possibly two so they can show its applications on both ends of the gaming spectrum (maybe the relaxing game as well as a horror game that adjusts certain things depending on how frightened you are).

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Kirby. It's been on their Japanese release schedule for every year since 2006, surely they've now got to announce it or drop it?

In the last conferences, Sonic in Brawl was announced as well as Monster Hunter 3. There has been a few surprises, but I do not think that Zelda will be present in any form.

The focus might be on software for the vitality sensor and maybe a third party surprise

I think they will announce the games for the first half of 2010, but not huge game announcements like Zelda quite yet. I'd like them to save that for E3, and they probably know they need it then. So I don't expect them to undercut that.

I'm expecting more details on the Vitality Sensor and its game to be the main focus. But there could also be a new third party exclusive.

Hopefully, Star Fox and F-Zero. Probably not though.

Retro Project, there is a reason why Matt Cassamassina went to Retro this week and i doubt it was Metroid Prime Trilogy

Kirby should be re-shown since it's still on Japan's release schedule...

Former something....

I'd love for Nintendo to surprise us with a Kirby title, perhaps as the Punch-Out!! of 2010?

I don't think we'll see anything on Vitality Sensor, Zelda Wii or Retro Studios. I expect more gameplay for basically everything from E3 and the titles that we haven't seen since their last fall conference.
