Japan also saw the release of Microsoft and Epic Games' Gears of War 2, which sold 49,000 in its debut week, breaking the top 10. The shooter was a huge hit when it launched in November last year in the US, and has sold over 5 million copies.

Well, the platform has grown a bit since the last one and the first sold alright for a shooter.

This game is better, and should get around 100k lifetime.
