Dragon Quest X will destroy Final Fantasy XIII.

If we're counting multiplat sales then FF13 should win worldwide, but DQX could give it a fight depending on if it catches on in the west. Iwata did say he wanted to promote it, and Nintendo's promotions worked wonders for Layton.

Totally put the ads on minivans, on playgrounds, in retirement homes, and in fitness catalogs since that's all the userbase is made of am I right? :P

I kid I kid! Right now I'm thinking FFXIII can go either way, usually the first Final Fantasy of the generation is the best selling for that generation, but compairing FFX vs VII, VII was much higher, so if that is also a trend then FFXIII could be lower then FFX, and the fact that this generation is crazy to begin with I'm certain it will sell a few million but I'm almost certain it won't reach the lofty goals of beating the past games sales.

As for DQX beating FFXIII I don't see it happening outside of Japan but if the promotion is good it could attract the western gamers, I know DQIX will be my first purchase of the DQ series and judging by that game will mean if I pick up DQX or not. I'm not digging FFXIII so far but like all FF games I'll probably buy it <_<

Final Fantasy XIII will Win in World-Wide Sales by a huge amount.

Final Fantasy XIII will sale much more in the UK/EU.

Well it's on track to sell 4 million in Japan alone and Wada thinks it'll hit 5 million. So being generous, let's say it sells 5 million in Japan and does maybe 1.5 million in the rest of the world, that would be 6.5 million. No small feat to overcome, even for Final Fantasy.

How is Pokemon a JRPG in any way, shape or form? It's about as much a JRPG as The Legend of Zelda.
