did anyone figure out how to blow up the wall after u defeat the guy tryin to electrocute the guard
That was AWESOME! I want this game now.
After seeing the trailer, I thought "boooooooring all you do is mash square and sometimes triangle to kill a bunch of guards". I never thought... wow, this seriously rivals Splinter Cell in terms of stealth.
Still hoping this game digs deeper, but I have a good feeling it will.
The whole single button combat seems to be a pretty small part of the overall gameplay given the other options introduced even within the 15 minute demo.
is it true that fighting and all the other moves are pretty much done by game itself and not player? i heard that combat is basically 1-2 buttons and that's all - it looks good on screen but it's retarded to play that way to me.

No. What I played was a simple beat em up section that wasn't very impressive...but it was 2-3 months ago. I will try the new demo when available... |
Oh, nice to know! I tried that same demo you are talking about before, it sucked major poop. Glad to see it can be interesting!
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
The combat system is very contextual. Depending on your position and the enemy position, it can change up the attack sequence or cut to a dramatic finish (like Watchmen).
What it isn't, is a typewriter style tap in a combo sequence combat system.
Based on the demo, the game does not seem to be centered around toe to toe fighting/button mashing anyway. You're better off outmaneuvering and flanking enemies, using quiet kills, gliding knock downs, ground and pound finishes, etc. Against armed (firearms) enemies, that's the only way to give yourself the advantage since it doesn't take many shots to take Batman out.

The majority of the game is stealth and investigation, judging by the demo. You'll only really use this "freeflow" combat against unarmed enemies. A lone enemy can also be taken down with a few punches. In a room with five armed guards, you don't want to be seen.
demo was good, great grafix and audio, good voice acting and great controls.
@disol, u start off in a chamber and beat a few guys up. combat is pretty good.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
Wow, that was fucking awesome! I already deleted the demo again, so to continue my boycott until I can get it, because that was fucking awesome!
The last room with all the armed guys took me a couple of tries to get the hang of, but once you have that stealth-isolation tactic going full steam, and can take out the entire room without being seen, it shows just how awesome this game really is!
And the detail with the bad guys heart beat rate rising, and how the AI changes when you've started to terrify them, that is simply so awesome!
And yes, the combat here is incredibly simple, square for attack and triangle for counterattack, but the combat itself is such a small part of the game (judging by the demo anyway), that it actually fits well, because it makes you feel even more like the almighty Batman!
Holy fuck, this is awesome!
