It's back to releasing unnecessary games, though. What's next? The arcade-perfect version of Street Fighter II?
Wait...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

You sure you don't want to use Sexy Poker as evidence of the Virtual Console not being dead?

Nah, but it's great evidence that the WiiWare pipeline is drying out.

"Where's my ______, Nintendo?!"
Who cares if it's dead? Nintendo underdelivered. They were hyping the hell out of it before Wii launched and they still only have like 14 N64 games on the VC out of like 300 games. I know they can't get everything but they should at least have all their first-party stuff available for NES, Super NES, and N64. The other consoles I couldn't give 2 shits about.
It seems the focus on VC has been monstly on old Arcade games. VC is not dead, we are getting super mario kart SNES, and Super Smash Bros N64 this year i'm sure.

You got a source :P?
VC was never dead, check out my thread and you'll see Nintendo still has tons of classics to re-release
