GamesCom (I thought it was gamescoN), is in Cologne, Germany, between August 19th and 23. The SCEE press conference is on August 18th 6-9pm I assume local time

Still a while to wait till gamerscon. TGS is late september right. Wont they just wait till then or is gamerscon big enough?

They have a 3 hour conference at GamesCom, you would hope they might say something in that time

Ive got to say i have to agree here.

though at this point i understand it, i dont think the game can take too many more missed dates before people become irate. I hate it on both sides when they announce a game so early and they have no idea when it will be ready. this generation has been so bad about that. i feel if its more then a year out dont talk about it at all. i can understand one or two games per platfrom but it seems as though dozens of games are having this happen. 

and by no means am i saying dont advertise, but if you dont think it will be out dont fucking tease us asshole developers im not going to buy your super delayed games anymore ....

ps and none of that announcement of announcement shit, i dont know who started it and i dont care but that shit needs to stop now. its only cute if your 2 years old and none of you fuckers are 

sorry for the rant, not aimed at sony, ms , or nintendo, but at all the gaming market 

the more i read about all those 'secrets' from sony, the more i think they're driving one hell of a viral marketing campaign through internet forums ^^

If all this is true, then sony should be amassing huge numbers of consoles for the upcoming holiday, and wouldn't we know about that somehow?
