I was shopping around an dnoticed a few major online retailers either have PS3 as no stock or have taken it off their sites completely. More fuel to the PS3 Slim rumours. If stocks are clearing out now it must be comming soon.

Examples:

GAME: All of their PlayStation 3 stock has currently sold out!

Ebgames: Only 91 stores have stock, compared to Wii and 360 which have 320 stores with stock.

BigW: Removed listings.

Harvery Norman: Removed listing.

The last two stores are big stores here in Australia.

UK hates the PS3 >:

Depends on how much stock the different areas have to deplete and how much of Sony's own stock would be sold on to those areas. Sony probably won't bother restocking Australia, due to the low number of PS3s being bought, and so if they restocked now, they'd just have more fat PS3s sitting and waiting to be sold when the Slim releases. Whereas the UK still moves enough units for Sony to want to restock them before the Slim is released.

OT: The proof just keeps rolling in. This is worse than the PSP Go, at least that was leaked a couple of weeks before (though the real fail was that they leaked it themselves- it was on Qore (or maybe PULSE) three days before E3. Wonder if they'll do that again.
