Forums - Sales - Little King's Story sales are undertracked! Maybe sort of!

Why do u say "Maybe sort of" ?

It IS undertracked actually.

right ?

Not necessarily. It's quite possible, even likely, that there are tens of thousands of unsold copies floating around Europe. The number of copies shipped doesn't have the equal the number sold. Look at Fallout 3, for example: the initial shipment number still hasn't matched the total sold (even though it still did fantastically).

Actually if you are talking about that 4 million shipment it was reached and passed a while ago now. Dont forget taht there is no PC version tracking and seeing how fallout is a pretty popular PC IP, It probably sold more then the PS3 version...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Why are you so obsessed with this game..?

I almost thought you wouldn't know the difference between sold and shipped.

Well maybe it's undertracked. 10k or so.

So I take it NMH is undertracked in Europe. I doubt 50,000 copies are still on shelves. The interview said it sold 440,000 worldwide.

The numbers listed above are SOLD. I believe that because of NMH's Japan number, which VGC has spot on at 40k.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

To say the truth you cant find any copy on shelves here in Europe I think... so you may think this was the shippment LAST MONTH and a few more copies were shipped since then ?

If the site's numbers are accurate then I guess I'm way behind the times. Thanks for the heads-up.

Initially, because I was drawn in by the game's promise. Now, it's because I've actually played it extensively.

It's possible (and in fact I hope it's true), but I doubt it. The reason you can't find copies is that very few were shipped, and most of the ones that were went to the UK. It's the same story here in North America: most retailers aren't even carrying the game, and only offer it online (if then).

The paucity comes from a lack of retailer interest, not from it selling out.

It seems like the game's sales have been updated: it's now up to 50k in Others! I take full and complete credit for the change, because people on this site totally listen to me!
