If you people are upset over a little swearing then obviously you have never held a job or been in the real world, hence resulting in you likely being 12 years old.

Obviously the reason why I suggested against the cursing has been lost.

Ever since the rumor of 40gb PS3's coming out has surfaced, there has been a lot of undue fussing and ridiculous troll-baiting in the forum, all of which has brought the return of Hus in the form of 3240832048320 different accounts. The only reason I said it wasn't needed is because it can incite more arguments.

I'll not comment on your weak assumption that swearing implies you've held a job or been in the real world. That's quite laughable.

Really, $400 is still fucking expensive.; its more than the PS2 launched at

Actually, it's not really much more, if at all more, than what the PS2 launched at when you consider the fact that we've had a lot of inflation in the last 7 years and the economy is taking a tumble.  Really, in terms of cost of living, the PS3 40GB as a luxury item is no more of a financial strain than the PS2 was at launch.  Of course, you probably didn't have to worry about your cost of living then and may not even now, so you may not know squat about that.

And as far as the market is concerned, a $400 PS3 is more valuable than a $350 360.  When the difference was $400 to $500 (and still 600 euros...) PS3 was actually selling more.  While this is another gimp model, it's still very likely to put the PS3 well above the 360 and even more so if the 80GB comes down to $500.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

For me anything over $700 is too much

I'll take the case!!!

of course its still expensive but youd be kidding yourself if you said that 400 is not gonna bring in more consumers... the 360 sold pretty good at 400.. of course it had a better library but still
Did you read what I posted? I said it would see more and that the 360 sold decently at $400

The point is there are actual people who post stuff like this;

$400 and $500 selling point is a perfect selling point.

$400 ain't nuffing to me and i'm 15, but that's because to me $400=189 British pounds... and the Wii cost me 180 british pounds... $400 aint the sweet spot, but it's a damn good deal compared to what us Brits get...

Inflation calculator; What cost $300 in 2000 would cost $351.26 in 2006 - http://www.westegg.com/inflation/

But given your post, I'd say you dont know jack about cost of living. In fact, you even say that the economy is worse off than it was in 2000, meaning that a luxary item like the PS3 is even more of a finacial strain than the PS2 at launch. Thats some great logic....

O RLY?

If you had been in the big bad world your would understand that swearing is an every day part of life.

Never ever have I heard anyone in reality tell someone not to swear unless it was a parent to their child, fair enough I have told my gf to stop swearing because she was using the world 'fuck' every 5 seconds but's that's only over-use of swearing that would come out as bad-mouthed.

It's only on the internet forums that are over run by grammar whores such as yourself that feel the need to police what people type.

So, not wanting flame wars to break out makes me a grammar whore? Ok

I may have worded it poorly, but you've missed what I meant.  In terms of the cost of living, everything else has jumped up more rapidly in comparison.  So yes, a PS3 is a more severe financial strain than a PS2, but it's not by a whole lot and it's a whole lot less of a jump than everything else you would want to go out and buy.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

I bought my ps3 for $1200.00

In gamestop. Came with 4 games. And an extra controller.

Naw I dont think $399.99 is expensive for a

bluray player, 1080p HD dvd upscaler, playstation 1, playstation 3, online gaming, and multi media functionality.

$399.99 is too cheap for all of that.
