@selnor- "I'm sorry if your genuine, but it's not a coincidence that ONLY PS3 fans came out instantly in this thred with negative comments" I agree, but you should know by now thats common reaction from people not really "into" halo, though i still get your drift. and yes i know it, just because its Uber popular in the US (And EU?) but what can ya do eh?

Im basing my opinion on the fact that i never really saw much story in the Halo series that needs more fleshing out, i mean it would make more sense to make an anime of Final Fantasy XIII at this rate, or maybe another already "japanese" type of game ala Valkyria Chronicles or Magna Carta II which is infact a 360 exclusive so dont use Valkyria on me please...

I do agree with ya man, but i dunno... guess i'll be abit more open on the subject but... right now it looks like Power Rangers to me.

@mibuokami- I agree, although i LOVED Halo 1 (original on Xbox/PC) but stopped giving a damn after 2, just how is the "lore" of it all, sort of interested but to lazy to make any effort on the subject of its story.

Mainly due to the fact i never take FPS games storys as an RPG...

It's very strange actually Seraphic. So far we have Halo 1-3 and Halo Wars. To be honest Halo 1-3 is just MC story. It's actually a very very small part of what Halo's Universe is. and what it's all about. The books are well worth reading if you like sci fi, and the fanfiction writings are also worth reading.

Alot of people are perplexed as to why Halo is still going. Some think it's being milked. To be honest, I can't stress enough that we have not seen the best Halo game yet. I predict even now 'IF' Halo Reach is based on the bokk 'Fall Of Reach' it will be one of the highest scoring meta games of all time. But only if they dont stray to much from the book. There is even back story in that book which could be further fleshed out. It's crazy, but Halo is far from done and far from being at it's best yet.

@Seraphic, like selnor said, Masterchief and Halo 1-3 is a very small section of the entire halo universe which has an expansive history every bit as interesting as any cult sci-fi series. The Fall of Reach really is an enjoyable book, try to surf around for it (by Eric Nylund), although personally I REALLY want them to create a spinoff (in any media) about the forerunner vs flood battles, which would be epic on the scale of Hulk vs Superman.

Harrrroooooooo!!~

Kawai!

Unleash the weebo inside

Aslong as its good then they should go for it.

Most games make shitty shows and movies though, so as always I'm sceptical until I actually watch it.

The halo art style is nice and colourful though, so it should translate well into an Anime style. At least visually.

^^' AWESOME!

Interesting. Not what I expected, but it could work. Lots of negativity in the thread and all we have is 2 pictures. LOL.

Pretty obvious. When Microsoft teased a project with Production I.G., it could really have only been one of two things. This was my second guess after Windows: The Anime.

Looks very interesting, we will have to wait and see how it pans out.

And to add to this - The Fall of Reach (which immediately preceeds Halo:CE) is already something like 2 decades into the covenant war. The Spartans, all Spartans, are basically already legendary warriors. Master Chief wasn't even considered the best of them. The rest had the misfortune of being on the ground defending Reach when the entire planet was glassed(orbital bombardment that melts the surface into a glassy texture). But the Spartans in their heyday were truely a force to be reconned with. Very few Spartans were ever created, but they survived and took part in so many battles over such a long period of time that the books note that the Sangheli don't even realize that Spartans are human, since they are never seen out of their armor. They assume Startans are a far deadlier race lending assistance.

I feel there will be great fail here... oh so great and that makes me sad... a sad panda
