Forums - Nintendo - Slants in NMH series leaving the Wii announcements

Doesn't matter though... since he said no more Wii.

Well, that's the best clue we have. HD, DS, whatever. As long as I can play it, all good.

"or even the iPhone" - lol, fail. It's kinda obvious he's talking about next gen, why would he flip off the fanbase on the Wii?

Right on.

Again, people need to look at the date 2 is releasing, roughly, from the first game. It'll be pretty close to around 2 years, and development for a next gen system would likely take a little longer than that. With the next Nintendo system likely to drop in 2012, you'd think that people in the gaming press could do the math.

And yeah, he's not going to flip on Nintendo, after they  have given him his biggest hit yet.  (And why would he talk about Travis in Smash bros., if he were even contemplating abandoning them? Anybody rememember the saga of Megaman and Smash bros.?)

Maybe he will make a DS game?

That was how X-play tried to spin the original NMH2 announcement -- because Desperate Struggle is abbreviated DS.  Adam Sessler also noted how "poorly" this punk title did on the Wii and how it really didn't belong on the Wii. (Remember, this is Suda's best-selling title of all time).

Of course, Sessler knows how to survive -- so he will do just about anything in the show he is told to do. (I am referring from how X-play went from Wii friendly to Wii hating in about a year).

Mike from Morgantown

As has been said, there is a lot of speculation for a game that will not exist until 2011 or 2012. Any later and the world will have ended, according to the Mayan calendar.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

It's pretty funny how much speculation is going in to the third installment of a series when the second installment is still a year off.

We don't even know if there's going to be a No More Heroes 3!

Because the third installment just might be on a non-Nintendo console, and therefore might actually matter

:P

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It's amazing where they make these "headlines". I don't know if anyone was actually even expecting a third game in the series, especially when the second isn't out yet.
Most likely, if there ever will be a third game, it's going to a next gen platform and is out in 2012 earliest. So, no Wii, 360 or PS3.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

Kotaku lol. When do they not have a slant on Wii news? I don't recall any low budget quirky Japanese action games lighting up the PS3 or 360 charts and yet they're raving about "sound business sense" for a game that doesn't even exist yet and may never come to either of those platforms.

No More Heroes matters because it IS on Nintendo Wii. Not the other way around.
