Wii Sports Resort is my best game of all time, it's your loss it you don't play it!

i've played the Japanese version at a shop, they had it for promotion and it rulez



don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

The media and certain segments of the gaming community will have you believe that either there are people like you, or there are the people who have never really played games before buying the Wii and that these are the ones propelling the sales of these 'tech demos'.

In reality there are a lot more people like me - people who want a new Pikmin, Donkey Kong and Starfox. People who love playing Smash and Mario Galaxy, but who ALSO own wii fit, got addicted to 'tanks' in Wii Play, think that Nintendo can do just fine balancing both the so-called casual and hardcore markets, and who are really excited about Wii Sports Resort!

I have pre-ordered my copy and I think it will be a great game.

I can see Wii Sports being regarded as a tech demo, but if you think Wii Sports Resort looks like one... Well, I don't know what to tell you, except that that's insane.

WSR and Wii Music are awesome.

I don't... Wii Sports is one of my favourite games, and to be honest is more fully featured than most full priced games (obvioulsy if you look at the sports seperately then they are not up to full sports games)

I am happy to hype WSR because I know it is going to be awesome, though I am not sure how well a couple of the sports will work (cycling and basketball) the rest I am very interested in.

I don't really go around hyping WSR though, there are not many games I hype up to other people before I play them, I antcipate games I think will turn out really good, but I don't often go around telling people to buy a game I haven't played.

@OP... to most of your points I will say this.... the AVERAGE time spent on Wii Sports per user is higher than the majority of other games, but no you are not alone in having thrown it away because there are a minute percentage (about 0.5-1%) of Wii owners that haven't actually played the game at all.

The funny thing is that Nintendo so called tech demo games are way better then som of huge and big budget games out there.

So for me I don't care if this is just another "tech demo".



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

All games should be a tech demo in one way or another.

If they aren't, then the game isn't doing it's job.
