The media and certain segments of the gaming community will have you believe that either there are people like you, or there are the people who have never really played games before buying the Wii and that these are the ones propelling the sales of these 'tech demos'.
In reality there are a lot more people like me - people who want a new Pikmin, Donkey Kong and Starfox. People who love playing Smash and Mario Galaxy, but who ALSO own wii fit, got addicted to 'tanks' in Wii Play, think that Nintendo can do just fine balancing both the so-called casual and hardcore markets, and who are really excited about Wii Sports Resort!
I have pre-ordered my copy and I think it will be a great game.
