I don't... Wii Sports is one of my favourite games, and to be honest is more fully featured than most full priced games (obvioulsy if you look at the sports seperately then they are not up to full sports games)
I am happy to hype WSR because I know it is going to be awesome, though I am not sure how well a couple of the sports will work (cycling and basketball) the rest I am very interested in.
I don't really go around hyping WSR though, there are not many games I hype up to other people before I play them, I antcipate games I think will turn out really good, but I don't often go around telling people to buy a game I haven't played.

@OP... to most of your points I will say this.... the AVERAGE time spent on Wii Sports per user is higher than the majority of other games, but no you are not alone in having thrown it away because there are a minute percentage (about 0.5-1%) of Wii owners that haven't actually played the game at all.
