Resistance 2 better than Killzone 2? Hell no. Killzone 2 had a decent story, the characters had feelings and the multiplayer was alot of fun. The only thing that was missing was co-op (which would have been great).

It maybe had a decent story, but the way it was told was lame. The first 3 or 4 levels were basically the same. Everything looked similar and I was pretty bored all around. Aside from Captain Templar, who was the only sympathic guy on that damn spaceship the main characters were either annoying and/or generic as hell.

SPOILER: When G. died I felt like: Hey someone just bit the dust ?.... Who cares he was just a random soldier.

I agree with this. Resistance 2 is my second favourite shooter this gen (behind H3), though I don't know if it would stand the test of time like CoD did (as I borrowed Resistance 2 from a friend for a couple of weeks, whilst CoD4 has held my interest since launch until when I was playing it today).

The story may not have been as good as Killzone, or whatever, but the actual gameplay is so much more fun. That level in Lousiana with the plantation house and that steam-paddle boat was one of the most enjoyable levels I've played in a shooter.

I liked how they incorporated mild terrain climbing in the game, adding a bit of a platforming element, though only slightly, something that only a dev like Insomniac could get away with.

I also liked the slightly cartoony approach to the graphics, it was nice to have a little colour.

I love Resistance 2. I dont really agree with anything you say, but I do think Rfom was better than R2. I hate customization in multiplayer (if you mean perks like COD games).

I also loved the fact that you could have 12 wepons in the SP of RFOM

I think why Resistance 2 was so great was because of the level selection. I've never seen such a good diversity of levels in a FPS.

Everytime a new level began I felt like playing a totally different game.

Also the colourful graphics were very good implemented. A lot better than in the levels of FOM.

I'd prefer they just focus on Ratchet or make something new entirely- the market is too saturated with FPS for something as generic and occasionally dull as Resistance 2. But if they do decide to make another one (and they will), then I agree with everything you said.

I thought the game was great, especially the story! I liked it much better than K2. I put in a lot of hours in coop. Though I didn't like that you could only carry two weapons and there was no offline coop which was one of my favorite things about the first. I guess I like it more than he first - but I never really played the online on R1.

Gears 2 proves that your number 4 theory is broken.

Halo 3 doesnt have little health. They have too much health. Cod4 hc and cs is low health.
