Regarding the actual topic at hand, I never trust just one review source anyways, regardless of the game. Let's wait until a good numbers of reviews come in and we can form a variety of opinions. Either way, I'm not going to start hating a reviewer just because they didn't like a game I liked.

I never got that much into the HL universe... I played both main games and finished them, tough I was allways more into the simpler, linear FPSs ( see Quake/Red Faction etc. ).

So, I wont go there...

Yeah, I really hope wii sports resort gets some good reviews even though I wont buy it because I'm on a tight budget atm and my money goes to metroid prime trilogy and the conduit.

No not really. Mostly because the review wasn't all that terrible compared to the really bad ones as of late. Then again I didn't really read much of it so maybe it is terrible as most.

For the record, this review did nothing to influence my opinion of IGN AU. The second I saw the name I knew it was a negative Wii thread coming up. The poster helped confirm it before, but I have yet to see anything on these forums from them that doesn't take a bunch of swipes at the console. I hold the same opinion of Gamedaily (or Gamesomething I forget which) and Kotaku for various reasons.

I knew this was going to be a negative review considering who posted the thread but I had no idea that this many Sony fanboys were interested in WSR. I'm used to these kind of clusterfuck fanboy infested threads on GameFAQs, not VGC.

I'm just a little taken back that out of everything that went on in this thread you chose me to associate the problem with.  I know people's reading comprehension is bad but this is simple.  Go back and read what happened... see what I was doing, and then do the math.  Or is that too difficult for you.
