Hey do not hate on me for being a little anarchistic. This console war has been stagnant for what eight or nine months now. I say some serious reversals and market diversification could actually encourage some fresh debate. I say if some given expectations were challenged or dethroned we might actually see some more participation on these forums.

Hell this could be a god send for the Nintendo community which has basically found itself as both complacent, and increasingly left out of the debate. Which is always about the 360 and the PS3. A good story needs some conflict. A little conflict at the door should be welcomed. What I am saying is this could get real entertaining.

With Final Fantasy XIII in Japan, The 360 making some moves in Europe, and Nintendo the king of the hill sliding down. Now that would be a situation that could really get a three sided debate going. You cannot blame me for wanting to see the war actually heat up rather then what has to amount to trench warfare. You know where nothing changes for months or years on end.

Promoting fanboyism, immaturity, and childishness... nice.  Since everyone, fanboys alike, pretty much agreed that Wii = auto win this gen most Wii/Nintendo fanboys took themselves out of the debates, I don't know how bringing them back in will improve anything... except more headaches for me...

On Topic... or Off Topic... or Massive Thread Derailment... that's pretty funny, farts, game milking from Nintendo as well as EA being original, I love this thread :P It could have been a huge flame war but it's turned into one big LOLfest.

Don't worry, I heard that hermaphrodites are good at feeling better.

Alright. I have had a lot of fun in this thread and will check on it tomorrow. I have a couple of things to do and then I have to go to work.

Also, stop picking on Bolero. She's not from one of those towns where there's only three last names.

Yeah, you're right.. Besides, i could meet her(¿?) sister niece somedays and she could hit me, that has to hurt as much a hit of a sister and a niece together.

I'm almost certain I don't want to know what you're implying here.

@amp: Haha, was that a city joke?  You trying to say I cut people?

Maybe the casual market is only so big.

Pricecut, or good games is needed.

I agree i think this is great news, that means more sales for 360 and ps3.

I think this is just the start of YOY declines for the Wii.

Demand has obviously dropped for the Wii this year (at least at its current price) and Nintendo so far seems to be unwilling to drop price. Add to that a relatively weak lineup for the rest of the year (except in Japan but it's hard to imagine it'll be able to make up for what appears to be a large declines in North America and Europe).

Next year they have their core franchises which are basically aimed at the same people that bought Brawl, SMG, etc. There's nothing on the horizon (at least that they've shown) that will have the same impact as Wii Fit or Wii Sports and take off like wildfire to continue what was an unparalleled level of sales.

The year after will see competition in their Blue Ocean from Project Natal and Sony's motion controller, something that they haven't had to worry about at all up until now. It's hard to imagine the Wii gaining sales when they're facing competition in areas they never had to before.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's the end for the Wii, just that it may not be as dominant as some people have written it off to be.
