Question...

Even if Sony cuts to price, why in hell do you guys think that everyone will run and buy one and the 360 and Wii will get their "ass kicked"?

Ps3 has never been priced at a consumer friendly range. $300 is a decent price though and makes a huge difference.

It's all about the games, and I really think after this year's e3 the proof is in the pudding. God of War 3, another Ratchet, Gran Turismo 5 and MAG will make the console a lot more attractive to consumers.

Yeah, I know there's a lot more games coming out but I think those are pretty important exclusives.

The assumption is that people are buying the cheaper consoles because 360 is close in terms of service and wii has it's own positives. People don't mind paying an extra 50-100 for something if they like the brand and quality, but double the price of a competitor is unheard of.

Look at everything that sony is invested in. Usually they are only 5-10% more expensive than the next best competitor

Uncharted 2 is probably the most important and has the most potential to explode in popularity with mainstream casual gamers.
