It's because "teh Wii (lol wee) iz for kidz!!1 Only grannies and soccermomz play teh Wii, Nintendo iz D00MED!!1!"

Really, there are a lot of people who are frightened by its success and want it to fail.

No, its because wii fan(boys) are always supporting their arguments with sales ''This game is better because it sold better''or ''This system is better because it sold better'' and they also like to talk how PS360 are selling horrible compared to wii and coz of that HD fan(boys) are giving them the taste of their own medicine

This could really go back and forth into a 100 reply thread that no one gets anything out of, so let me just get this out of the way:

I myself am a Nintendo fan. If you have ever seen my posts around here, you may have noticed that. Personally, I do not crawl into threads where I have no interest. That is why I am not in the Prototype vs inFamous thread, or the lets hype up Mass Effect 2 thread.

The question is, why do PS3/360 console owners find the need to go into a thread concerning a system they do not own, for a game they are surely not interested in, and criticize a game they will not play, along with the system it is on? Why in Wii game reviews, do people have to mention

  • "for a Wii game"
  • "on other consoles"
  • "No mini-game collection"

How come when the Wii falters in sales for two months in Japan, "the bubble will burst" and Wii sales will plummet everywhere? If that was the case, my 360 would be one of 10 left in America.

Most recently, I only see Wii sales mentioned when a Wii game is not included with PS360 multiplatform games, a la Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I have never seen someone say, this game sold more, so it is better. If that is the case, ET on the Atari was 5x better than Killzone 2.

Anyone stating HD sales arehorrible compared to Wii is just playing Captain Obvious; we  have known this as fact for over 2 years now. And the Wii library is ridiculously good now, with every genre covered, and so many good games to play that even the most ardent gamer cannot afford to buy them all. I sure as death know I can't.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

that's because you never argued with Nintendo fanboys. They always use sales as theri argument every time wii is atacked. You are really blind if you dont see it.

If nintendo catered to the traditional gamers, traditional gamers would buy the system, and would buy traditional games. avoid or distrust.

They did that last generation, and where did that get them? third place and 22 million consoles sold

Similar to how the HD guys use Metacritic? lol.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

because HDudes has nothing to do but attack the wii and ignore the flaws in their HD toys. They are kinda sad specially when many of them work for the media.

It's because many trolls like to make things bigger than they are while most people really don't give a shit.

@Munkeh

But CoD4 wasn't on the Wii, and the Wii version is inferior to the HD versions.

CoD3 sold better on Wii than PS3.

PS3 almots had 0 userbase when COD3 was ported on PS3

400,000 PS3 owners to 900,000 Wii owners? That is such a huge difference (sarcasm)

and few weeks later...

(games have legs, you know)

Stop bitching because a shitty game didn't sell as well on your console of choice. It's just a goddamn videogame.

btw, /thread

The Wii did have a 0 user base when COD 3 was released for it.

On PS3 CoD 3 had the major disadvantage of having Resistance competing with it, whereas to my knowledge, there were nearly no other FPSs on Wii {and the EU sales of it are questionable, they aren't properly tracked}. And why is the Wii version inferior to the PS3 version?

@ arius dion, firstly, the PS3 does have half the user base of the Wii, secondly I think that many of them will have got the game on PS2 (I am just talking about GH III) as most of the GH fans would have already got the instruments on PS2, which is why the PS2 version sold so much
