wait didnt enchanted arms sell more on ps3? im not sure tho but yea its a year late so whos gonna go crazy for it?

we don't even have full sales figures for this game.

I'm guessing ToV won't sell well on the 360 in Europe this week and a PS3 port which might be out in maybe 1.5 years from now on will sell horrible (speaking of Europe)

I think the PS3 version will outdo the 360 version by a bit, because many ps3 owners love rpgs

@nordlead.

Dont you think Japan will have a significant factor to play?
I think it could end up close.

I think the PS3 version can possibly match the X360 version in Japan, but we don't even have a release date for it yet. For all we know it may not hit Japan until after FFXIII hits and by then ToV will be really old news. However, I think it will tank in America, and do meh in Europe.

Very few late ports ever have good sales. Not only becuase people may have bought the system for the game, but also because by the time they get out on shelves they are old news and no one cares about them.

It's releasing September 24th in Japan I believe.

@ Barozi

It did. The PS3 version sold more in America than the 360 version did in America and in Japan.

Not quite true.

PS3 America 164.377

360 Japan (13 weeks) 22.890

360 America 143.597

Now they both have no Others numbers and only limited or even no Japanese sales at all. The userbase at release in Others was for the 360 1,55 million and for the PS3 0,56 million. With other words, no one can make a real statement about the total sales, because there are just too many factors which could have changed the whole progress.

In fact I just think it would be fair to say that both versions sold pretty even.............. and pretty bad.

Well, I remember the PS3 sales before they got lost in the 2.0 update. It sold 30k as -eNchant aRm-

The X360 version will destroy the PS3 version in sales. Pretty much the same thing that happened with every other year late port.

Destroy?  Maybe not.

I don't think the fate of Eternal Sonata will happen to TOV.  You will be surprised by the sale number of PS3 version in Japan alone.

(Eternal Sonata is a great game, give it a try if you own X360 or PS3).

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

Don't listen to Wenlan, Eternal Sonata was terrible. PS3 and 360 owners save your money. A good battle system and great art can't save a game with a horrid story, bad characters, and a short completely linear quest.

Yeah...I think The PS3 is gonna outsell TOV 360 version in japan that's for sure, outside of japan I'm not even gonna comment there isn't a slight of hint that the PS3 version will come stateside.

The PS3 version should hit the states shortly after the Japanese version if the 360 version is any indication. Unfortunately our PAL/Euro friends will most likely get screwed by Namco again. Has the 360 version of ToV been released in Europe yet?

It hasn't but anyone will be able to import the American Vesperia for their PAL console.
