Forums - Sony Discussion - Uncharted Movie Incoming

                                                                KOTAKU

Everyone's favorite guy in a blue jeans, Nathan Drake, is the latest video game looking set for a big screen version.

Columbia Pictures is working on a movie adaptation of the million-selling-game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The flick is being penned by Kyle Ward, who is writing the film version of Kane & Lynch starring Bruce Willis and who has been hired to scribe Hitman 2 for 20th Century Fox.

The Uncharted movie is being produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner. No word on who is in talks to helm or star in the picture.

what happened to the Shadow of the Colossus one?
i hope they scrapped it

look.. hes also making kane and lynch and hitman 2...

but no record on what hes made previously.. that's usually not a good sign.. along with anything involving kane and lynch.

Also it's a game to movie adaption which is usually.. bad..

Check out my game about moles ^

Ohh sounds good?

I never played the original game, but if the original game was cinematic (like God of War), had a simple and short enough story (unlike MGS), with a sellable concept (Indiana Jones-esque) then the movie could be done.

Has Sony (Columbia) ever make a video game adaptation of their own games, if any? Maybe because everything is intertwined they could pull it off.
