Blaz Blue is interesting as normaly fighting games sell much better on ps3 (and usually with a higher multiplier than userbase diffrence).

Atelier definitly not amazing but with good chance at getting more than ARF first week.

So is it safe to say Blazblue/Atelier Rorona had bad OP sales and soon week sales since those are the numbers "bad" Wii games sales have?

Wii Fit and other sold around 200k first week if I remember well.

No wonder, these kind of games are veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long sellers, so Nintendo dont provide too much stock at 1st

Marvelous :( Even Valhalla Knights on PSP can't help them a bit.

If the game was on Wii there'd be a ton of posts about how Wii can't sell third party SW >_> But a VH Wii is coming soon...

I don't understand... :( Marvelous is one of the best developers/publishers out there... Valhalla Knights isn't the best example, but they surely deserve better. Well, they can count on me!

And yes... if Atelier Rorona was on the Wii and sold this... uffffff... But on the PS3 I'm sure it's OK, because it's a niche game. On the Wii there are no niche games... only on PS360...

Great sales all around :) I want an healthy Japanese market!!

Bionic Commando must be hurting Capcom.

No wonder that tool Ben Judd is nowhere to be seen these days.

Well I´m very happy about Wii Sports Resort first day sales. I was hoping for this kind of number but I feared it would do something around 100 k first day or even lower. For the record do anybody know about the first day sales for Animal Crossing City Folk and Wii Fit (I know it did 260 k first week but it would be interesting to know first day)

Ok sales for Blazblue and Atelier I guess but if these games would have been on Wii with this sort of first day sales many would have cried flop and that thirdparties don´t sell on Wii. I think you have to consider what kind of title the game is and take that into consideration when judging sales. These PS3 games are kind of niche just like Arc Rise Fantasia and Muramasa on Wii and can´t be expected to sell much more than this.

I´m expecting a hardware boost for Wii next week of around 10 k to around 30k. I would love for the boost to be bigger but I´m gonna have modest hopes as to not be dissapointed. AC CF and SMG both boosted hardware by 10k and WSR looks to have similar opening as those games, perhaps slightly better. But maybe Wii motion + can bring some extra sales? Here´s hoping.

Edit: The big hardwareboost I expect to come in August with Monster Hunter 3 and the new color. THAT will be huge.

well i'm glad it didnt bomb :P but well deserved, first game this year that will actually boost sales, but what u want is for the boost to last, maybe stabilize Wii at abt 25kbefore MH3 hits.

Exactly... I thaught that I was the only one who saw the terrible sales of BC... to bad :(

And WSR did pretty good... better then I was expecting... but so did many smaller releases this week :)

BlazBlue is a Guilty Gear like fighter and it's likely to pass all recent Guilty Gear games on consoles in Japan. That's good.

Atelier Rorona is looking to sell better than Arc Rise Fantastic which just shouldn't happen.
