That's stupid... it's lead has increased since launch... the one year lead has less to do with it than last years perfectly placed price cut.

Assuming the people who want one enough to buy one are the only people who should count, then as we all know, the real order is this:

Wii
360
PS3

Anything else is complete and utter spin.

Just because you believe that the PS3 should be the most popular console, doesn't change the absolute undeniable fact that it is currently the least popular console, handheld and home, by a significant amount, and excusing it with price and launch time is damage control, imo. Sony chose the price and launch time. Both of those are directly Sony's fault. They planned them. Their business plans are not excuses for lack of popularity of their console. They are reasons.

Just like RRoD. Remember RRoD? It is a main reason 360 isn't destroying the PS3. It's not an excuse. It is a reason that is Microsoft's fault. Just like having a late launch window and a terrible price point, terrible marketing, and a barren exclusive lineup for the first two years is Sonys fault.

How many times does Sony need to tell you guys! Xbox 360 cost more than the PS3!

Its $199.99 vs. $399.99, I think we will see a lot of angry 360 fanboys after the PS3 gets a $100 price cut.

^Also, all 360s get RROD, the PS2 is outselling the 360, the 360 has no games, PS3 will DESTROY and the revolution will suck and sell 500k then drive Nintendo bankrupt like Sega!

Early 2008: 360 is doomed!
Late 2008: PS3 is doomed!
Early 2009: Wii is doomed! (in Japan)
Mid 2009: PS3 is doomed!

its only outselling TREY by like 10000 units a week...so? Trey costs twice the 360. 360 has some weak sales...with one year advantage they only up by 8 mil. weak. It is funny how WII is dominating but the Xbox fans choose to go out of they way to bash the Trey. Here is what I propose: Stop selling the 360 for a year and then we will see the sales stats. live and learn! or live and hate
