I stopped reading when he criticised the Wii's hardware. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not some blind fanboy thinking the machine can compete with 360 or PS3 in terms of processing power, but it just seems like a "HD gamer" dig at the Wii, and an excuse to criticise the game.
I've seen The Conduit in motion, and it is a massive step up from Goldeneye-by today's standards, Goldeneye is a blurry mess. Again, like I said, Conduit can't compete with PS3/360, but it is probably the most technically impressive Wii game (in my opinion the art style lets it down).
Anyway, even with the more positive IGN review I'm still not convinced The Conduit is for me. Also, I heard the controls are fully customisable? I would've thought that would satisfy most gamers. Guess this reviewer doesn't fit in to the "most gamers" category. =P
