Forums - Gaming - who wishes for motion control to die.

I wouldn't mind if it did... it's hardly the reason I want a Wii - I just want the good exclusives the Wii has.

I would be more against motion control if it replaced a regular controller. As long as I can use a regular controller I don't mind motion control.

i don't hate motion control, but it should be used only in certain kind of games, not ALL games.

I do.

Because what's wrong with using a control it's the best.

If you get motion control and be shaking your arms around like you are some crazy idiot.

100% Agree with u.

I can't go back to traditional controllers for any length of time anymore

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

I don't hate them as long as they don't replace traditional controllers.

But post-E3, it looks like I'll be hating them after all.

It's not that I don't think they are great for certain games, but not all games should use motion controls (but most of the games on the Wii that shouldn't, do.).

It's like I tripped and fell into 2006.

Well, we've been in 2007 for a while, with all of the "PS3 is doomed" threads. So maybe we're going backwards. What was happening in 2005? 360 is doomed?

dumbest most flame bait post ive seen on this site since i joined.

i dont want to see it die.

tiger woods with a controller is a pile of shit compared to wii motion plus (or even no plus)

and ea active is giving me a killer workout that i somehow cant get on a controller.

maybe controllers should die? they can easily be replaced

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

It needs to die in the places it does not belong.

There are a few select genres and games were it works well, sometimes brilliant, but for every 1 good one there are 20 bad ones.

Well said. Motion controls can be great for tennis , golf etc but doing something like DMC on them would be laughtable.

Me. Wii Fit sells 20M. But do you really need an $80 game and balance board to PRETEND to Hula Hoop? Look, I'm playing Wii Fit right now without even owning the game

/proceeds to pretend hula hoop

i was gonna slam you here but the other guy did it for me with the cod thing

but yeh wii fit to me was more valuable than any game i bought this gen, as i actually have lost 30 pounds, and now am almost not overwieght anymore.  maybe i coulda done it other ways, but to me its a more lasting experience than resistance or fallout 3.

say what you want and get as mad as you want, wii fit will demolish any game you like in sales, sorry bro.

more women buy it than killzone 2, so i can see why you're so mad :P
