This article is spot on, I can't believe MS didn't realize that this was going to happen, just like last generation, when the PS2 released it's amazing 2001 holiday lineup, then died as the technically superior Xbox went on to become the console leader....

 I know that.  I'm not denying that the PS3 getting it first won't help it out...but we haven't gotten much info on the 360 version yet.  It has twice the userbase, plenty of shooter fans, and the 360 version could end up better, could end up worse.  I'm just saying, don't exclude the 360 when talking about UT3.

When Xbox was released all the eyes were allready on the PS2 (since the beginning in fact). To win the Xbox had to bring AMAZING games, AMAZING gfx, good price. In fact, nobody wanted to buy an Xbox since they were already dreaming of the PS2 and her games.

NOW, it is different.
When the Xbox360 was released nobody take attention to this console since people waited for the PS3/Wii release.
This generation is only 1 year old (november last year)
People are still waiting because the Xbox36/PS3 are very close. One is cheaper, the other is a "playsation". They still dont know which one is the "best".
In the other side, there is the Wii, alone, innovative and cheap.

It is only starting...

Really?  I think Mass Effect will likely sell 2+ million units and will help the 360 to beat the PS3 for the remainder of 2007.

 No one at my school who has a 360 is interested in Mass Effect. (though there are only around 8 people, so it is a limited pool)

If a 40gig comes out legend, there is no way the 360 can outsell the ps3 anywhere in the world as long as its advertised.

Halo 3 has basically insured that the 360 will outsell the PS3 for the rest of the year.  It doesn't really matter what the PS3 does for the rest of the year, the reality is that it had no big gun to counter Halo 3 and it's going to end up showing in sales.

Your technically correct, but advertising and a $399.99 ps3 equals a very good selling system. Maybe in america it might not outsell it, but very likely it will everywhere else.
