Things the PSP Go! does better:
1) The PSP Go!'s screen doesn't have the faults of the PSP 3000 -- The screen's still smaller! -- But it's also better. I know which one I want, and considering that the Go! has a better picture than the 2000, I'll sacrifice that half an inch:

2) The PSP Go! has ingame XMB, the 3000 wont be getting that. -- How useful will this really be, if your on the "go" & not near a wifi spot, whats the point unless in-game music is being implemented -- I don't know, but why would Sony do it if you couldn't use it for anything? I think there will be something useful for it.
3) It has internal memory so you don't have to go out and buy some yourself to download games onto. -- I'm a teenager & I don't have a credit card, PSP's audience has lots of teenagers in it, this is very inconvinient + 16GB = limitiation to the amount of games I can download -- Then you are not a part of the target audience! There is a reason Sony is keeping the 3000 on the market, and it's for people like you. And yes, 16 GB is a limitation, but by the time I have bought enough games to even think about expanding that space, those cards will be silly cheap.
4) Buttons are better, and are also better placed -- Debatable & by most responses, they seem more inconviniently placed -- Funny, because I heard exactly the opposite. Most responses feel the new buttons are better and that the placement of the buttons also feels more like a regular dualshock controller.
5) No UMD drive means more reliable hardware -- PSP original didn't have a big failure rate anyway -- But if the PSP Go! improves on it, then it still fits with your question.
6) Bluetooth -- Thats one good thing so far -- Agreed
7) Its size and weight means you can easilier transport the Go! than the 3000. -- PSP was perfectly portable for me & for many people -- Okay, so you missed all the complaints about how the PSP was way too big, and all the praise Sony got for making this one smaller?
I'll gladly give you another reminder of all these things later if you need it
