I really doubt it considering that the PSP version has more features (300 more cars, more tracks, etc) than Forza 3. GT5 will crush forza 3.

Microsoft should stop taking jabs at gran turismo. Microsoft has an irritating habit of attempting to tear down the competition while simultaneously promoting their own; a marketing tactic we don't see as often from either Sony or Nintendo and people wonder why there are a growing number of gamers who simply don't like Microsoft and how they handle their business.

Yes, because all other companies are perfect in this area??? BTW learn to diferentiate between MS and Turn 10.
There is absolutlely nothing wrong with promoting your game. Turn 10 is proud ond confident at what they created, and they should be.

I fail to see where Sony has kept ahead of MS this gen. Also, if I am not mistaken, Sony tried to copy MS flagship game as well (KZ KZ2), so this door swings both ways. Lastly, "copying" the competition just creates more competition, and keeps the game devs from sitting on their laurels and creating a sloppy game. bottom line is, this competition between GT and Forza is a good thing. I don't know if Forza can effectivly "kill" GT, but it certainly should be making them sweat. From what I have seen, the Forza cars look more realistc in finish. The cars look like they are show quality. The GT5 cars have a mixture of finishes on their cars. All the cars seem to have a matte finish in some areas, and a gloss in others, they actually look more fake because of it. |
Halo wasn't the first FPS on a console, you know. I suppose Microsoft copied Goldeneye from the N64?

There we go, a console FPS before Halo!
Sony never compared Killzone to Halo, that was the media. Making an FPS is not copying Microsoft. But making a racer and daring to question Gran Turismo's complete annihalation of everything else in the genre (a full Gran Turismo game, that is, not a demo), is foolish. Did Sony ever say Killzone would be better than Halo? No.

And once again, Turn 10 is not MS, and they "dare to question" GT because they have created a game that closely rivals it. That is all.

Wow, the way I phrased that sounded creepy.
My point is that Turn 10 are idiots for saying their game will be better than a Gran Turismo. Even if it is. That's not the point. The point is that it is never good to compare your game to one on another console, because then it will be said that you said it was a "killer", and when it fails to kill, Forza 3 will get immense levels of hate.
And Turn 10 is owned by MS, so it is MS.

Actually turn 10 is an ENTITY of MS. There is a difference. Turn 10 is actually being very smart in this issue. they are getting their game out there, and inciting fanboy wars on forums and comment sections on thousands of websites woirldwide. What does this do? Well, it gets the pictures out where everybody can see them, it also creates conversations about the technicalities of the games, as well as actual gameplay.

I second that.
The PS3's 22 milion users is a fraction of what the PS2's installed base used to be and it sold 9.7 GT4 outta 130 million PS2's, this time it will be half that or less.

My Trigger Happy Sixaxis controller

Forza 3 will be lucky to have LT sales equivalent to Gran Turismo 5 first week sales.
