The difference there is that those three games are being made by different teams, that is not milking, as they are different types of games as well. I know XIII has gone more actiony, but V XIII will be more like Kingdom Hearts, and of course XIV is online

And releasing PS1 games on the store is not milking it

Since you specified Franchise and not IP I'm going to go with series that get alot of sequels without much change between each.

Madden, Mario Party, Guitar Hero.
