Why are some people complaining about it?

There is far worse in movies and I personally feel that if you do not allow developers to express themselves in ways similar to this you are only hurting the creativity within the industry.

Not everything needs to be rainbows and butterflies or like they did with Kingdom Hearts 2, black mist coming out of the Hydra's neck when you decapitate it all because people decided to cry about seeing blood.

The blood was in the damn Disney animated film Hercules but somehow it is wrong for it to be in games.

At some point people need to realize two things:

#1. Many people in the world enjoy this kind of stuff. There is nothing wrong with it, it is only a video game.

#2. Not everyone who plays video games is young. What about the 20-30+ crowd such as myself?


If you do not like it just don't play it. I certainly will and I will love it. Ancient Greece was never a happy place to begin with and I am glad this game is as brutal as it is.

He is the God of War... its pretty much tending to perfection in my eyes, and it still by far my most waited game at the moment, and NO game can even come close to it IMO. The only series that rivaled the GoW in most wanted in my eyes was the Resident Evil series, and that cant even come close at this point ;)

Its amazing, violent, and the gameplay looks like God of War with tons of added content :D March 2010 cant come any time faster :D Glorious HD torture porn IMO :P

Nah. After that Kratos should have relaxed, then went up to Zeus to have a friendly chat. You know, talk it over or something. If later on he decides he wants to kill Zeus and/or any of the other gods who oppose him he should take care of them as quickly and as non-brutal as he possibly can. He should show mercy on those who helped to destroy his life and send him into the depths of hell.

Im glad I watched that, because it seems God of War 3 looks/plays like a PS2 game. I really didn't see much difference in gameplay. Since its just hack n slash i'll download the videos and play God of War 2 when I feel like it.

If I hadn't looked at the video title I would have thought I was looking at God of War 2. Honestly, I thought it was a mistake.

I thought was Hilarious, especially the part where kratos holds the head just so we can see :) hes like " yeaa look what we just did" lmao
