I'm not sure I like how you get into battles. You see them, but I've never seen an area where you can avoid them, so as it is it might as well be random encounter.

you can avoid them , Gamespot did it when they played the demo (i think its gamespot i dont remember)

but you can , you just dont let them catch you.

Well yeah, more than likely in the full game there are more open areas where you can avoid mobs, but in the demo and this clip I was never in an area open enough to do so.
