Well they did spend an awful lot of time looking at those crap games... but those people just have to accept that the people who buy those crap games represent a very large portion of their user base, and they also showed plenty of games for the hardcore

If I have 4 people over at my house...we are most likely watching the game or having a bbq. We are not playing the Wii. So coop is completely useless then...

Nintndo has been cutting corners like this for quite some time. They always screw the hardcore. Punch out is great throwback for old school gamers...however the wii motion controls really blow for that game and they didn't include Wii motion plus support...or online play.

Sega, not nintendo, is supporting the hardcore gamers on the Wii right now...all 5 of them.

So next time before claiming Nintendo is pleasing the hardcore, think about their hardcore offerings and what they are lacking...

I agree, I tend to think Nintendo's most hardcore still has a kiddy image, they have nothing gritty or dark so it doesn't appeal to those sets of people.

people all ways complain over studied things like no online on super mario bros wii the only thing that matters is if you liked there E3 showing personally I think they hade a great E3 showing almost all the games they showed I want to get

actually, most of the valid complaints I see are from people still waiting for games from other IPs which haven't received games in a while, Star Fox, Pilotwings, etc. but if we ever get those games, when they are out, it's pretty obvious that there will be no Metroid launching at the same time, which means that it will be Metroid fans complaining then.

the only time you won't see the valid complaints (and by valid complaints I mean those people that don't expect something Nintendo can't deliver) will be when Nintendo launches Mario, Zelda, Metroid, F-zero, etc in the same year.
