Let me just tell you what I look for in a console:
I like FPS, Sports, racing, some RPG's, Third person action games
What I look for in a handheld: Multimedia compatiabilies (music, video, internet,games)
Really the 360 fits my needs and the PSP fits my needs. There is no reason for me to purchase a Wii or a DS.
