Get over it. This is entirely expected. They don't want to compromise the proper game, spending time working on the Wii would have meant less time to work on the PS360PC versions, so the game would have had less polish. I don't see why they would develop for Wii when CoD 4 sold well over 10m on PS360PC. All they want to do know is to make sure that they get those versions right, and try and beat the masterpiece that was Call of Duty 4.

Oh, and while you go on about the whole controls vs graphics crap, the gameplay in CoD 4 was enhanced by the graphics. It would not have felt so intense on Wii graphics, and that would have ruined the experience. And the friend codes system would not have worked particularly well online

That would be more presentation not gameplay... >_>

You realize W@W has online and it's fine you just have to add friend codes for friends which most people don't care <_<

The engine for CoD4 runs on Wii and IW could do a lot better job making the engine look it's best...

*sigh* And personally there's a lot of evidence saying this game is coming to Wii, you can even pre order it at some stores already, just hold your horses until E3 at least people -_-

No, they are intertwined. Better presentation improves the immersion, which makes the game more fun to play, improving your overall experience. Yes I know WoW has online on Wii, but it is obviously better on PS360. They are not just going to use the CoD 4 engine, they are going to improve on that engine, they have been working on this game since CoD 4

Not really... prenstation helps the story and may make the story more entertaining it's not going to improve gameplay... your enjoyment doesn't mean it's gameplay, it's like Whoa I just saw Star Trek it had awesome gameplay cause it got me so immersed with the story <_<

And what would make you think that if they're coming out with MW2 on Wii that they haven't been working on it just as long?

No, you don't listen. When I am running somewhere, the bullets flying everywhere, stuff is falling apart, and I feel on edge, making the game feel more exciting. You don't just sit back and watch the nice pretty particle effects, you are in the middle of it, and it just makes the game so much more exciting and fun to play.

I am not saying that, I am saying that they won't just pick up what Treyarch did, because they will have improved their engine to incorporate new features, and they would have to make major adustments to their engine to get it to work on Wii, and now they are busy polishing the game

I think we'll see MW2 for Wii announced at E3 and revealed as the main platform.

Call of Duty World at War did that already on Wii, so what's your point?  You said it would take away from the gameplay but I can tell you right now that I had surround sound going with W@W on Wii and it sounded amazing and got you really into it and I'm certain IW could do a much better job.

That's false, they've already made the engine on Wii all they'd have to do is improve their base engine just like they did on PS3 and 360, they made the CoD4 engine on Wii and Treyarch used it, Treyarch just developed W@W not the engine...

I doubt Infinity Ward could not care less about you or what you think of them OP OR the extra 1-2 million Wii sales. Yes they are happy to ignore 1-2 million sales.....that pretty much tells you how much the PC, PS3 and 360 versions sell.

No, it shows their lack of effort

The only lack of effort I see here is on your own part to add to the discussion. Infinity Ward is focussed on making the best game they can possibly make this generation. Granted the Wii is a viable platform it isn't the same as the HD twins/PC. They are focused on PC/HD twins cause they want the best result possible to the fans of CoD MW and all three of these platforms share a architecture that are closer too each other than the Wii. The first MW wasn't released for they Wii and they probally wouldn't want to just make a shitty port to the Wii/PS2 because Infinity Ward's staff are perfectionist.

Damn I wish people would just put away their blinders for just one moment. Although everyone is right on the internet and someone will try to argue and prove me wrong no matter how much more sensible logic I use. Ohhh well :D

Too bad, playing FPS-games on the HD-consoles is just awful with the bad controller

So what did you do for gaming all last gen and prior?

This game is published by Activion - that alone means that if they can make version for your inteligent refrigerator they will do it.

I'll be very suprised if they don't do PS2/Wii versions.

lol probally. I love PC gaming and all but there are too many way fun games on consoles to just ignore completly. Especially if your a JRPG person such as myself. I usually use a joystick or pad anyways when I play computer games. Shooter games though on PC I will always prefer Mouse and Keyboard.

1. I'm gonna agree with munkeh on this and say that the power restictions on the Wii do limit the immersion. When you have all the effects, the numbers of enemies comming at you, the physics etc. then the level of immersion I find is greater than on the Wii version. You can't just point to a few factors and say it's fine if this version lacks that (or vice versa), it's the total package you need to look at.

2. I don't think it's the engine that Infinity Ward care about and I was pretty sure that it was treyarch who handled the port of the engine to Wii. The art assets between 360/PS3//PC can be more or less shared. On Wii they'd need to redo a lot fo the artwork (textures etc.) due to the power restrictions, and have to move resources onto the Wii version that could be spent on making more artwork for the other 3 versions.
