Anyone remember how the PS3 was going to dominate Europe because the launch was such a success? I'm not saying that the PSP is going to do poorly, just that you can't really evaluate the long term prospects on a couple weeks of sales.

Great news for the handheld.
People don't seem to be giving the PSP any credit, although it has been selling great, at least when compared to anything but the DS (Which is an anomaly as far as sales are concerned). So it's nice for it to have a least a couple weeks in the spotlight.

I wonder if the HW boost will help Crisis Core's second-week sales significantly?

Well, The PSP should at least get a few weeks of boost, going by trends, before any drop occur, Crisis Core: FFVII and... (what other good games are out there on PSP right now that sells consistently good?), will probably keep it high until next year (though I don't think higher than DS for the remainder of this year)

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.
