I have been playing this game all day and I must admit that I am quite impressed.

I have heard some negative things about the single player campaign but I have actually been enjoying it a lot. I am up to chapter 4 right now.

When I first started playing I was having issues with the controls but as I go along it has actually become quite enjoyable. I still prefer the dual analog at the moment but I will admit that playing this way is really fun.

The graphics are actually really good for a Wii title and Ford's hand while holding the ASE looks superb! I was really impressed by how nice that looks. The aliens are kind of lame looking but that is easy to look past not to mention the AI is as dumb as a bag of rocks.

In the end though all that matters is that this game is really fun.

Metacritic is 69, two whole points higher than one of my all time favorite titles SaGa Frontier which has an aggregated score of 67. GO LOW SCORING TITLES!!!

I agree.  The most important review is your own.  I could not care less about Metacritic.

The Conduit is quite an enjoyable game that has suffered terribly from over hype. From all the talk before release, people were expecting a game that would be as good or better than Metroid Prime 3, or Halo. If not for all the hype, I believe reviewers would have been pleasantly surprised with this game and it would have gotten slightly better review scores ending up around 75 on metacritic.

Good to hear you're enjoying the game, the less hyped you go into the game the better it is it seems, to me I'd say it's a solid 8 but I never expected anything more, it's hard for an FPS to get a 9 in my eyes and it's no different here.

But I dunno the AI seems fine to me since it'll kill you hard and fast if you don't watch it.

The game does look good but still the issue remains that they NEED a better art team, some things that could obviously be covered up with good art it's just a flat poor 2D drawing the second chapter when you look out the window you see what I mean *yeeesh* but overall it's great, good effects an it's solid.

So, how's life in the VGCHartz Conduit world? I just bought this game and am looking forward to getting my ass whipped online by people that bought it weeks ago.
