sidenote: I'm starting to see the drawbacks of not having local multiplayer, didn't think much of it at first, but my daughter(10) has watched me play TC and likes it so now shes playing, was playing online morning in fact, made me think of how much fun it would have been to play each other, or go online together.

...I'm glad they are looking to put this in The Grinder, but I KNOW my daughter will be too scare to play that, lol.

Story was just missing so much, the lack of cutscenes when Perfect Dark had them two generations ago is really dissapointing. The twist was obvious I thought and the ending was a load of crap. There were never any dramatic moments in the entire game, there are a load of events that should be dramatic...but they aren't. I also thought that for such a short game making you play the same segment twice was taking the piss a bit.


Level design was all to the same for most of the game, could have used better variety, a lot of it felt copy and paste. When you go into the garden on the white house level for instance it is all new and unique, these type areas are few and far between.


Still an enjoyable game regardless. I was gonna write some positive stuff but I got stuff to do, will continue later.

Did you find the messages and listen to the radios spread out in the game?  And a little knowledge of conspiracy theories goes a long way in the game story wise.

The surface story is shallow but this thing has a DEEP story if you look for it.

I agree with Kyledog. The story presentation was very poor. I think the game does lack some level variety, but the last two levels and the great weapon design more than make up for IMO.

Hrm hopefully I can be there this Sunday instead of passing out like I did last week.

So if we started a league, how would games every Saturday and Sunday? We'll have to have a few dedicated people like I said but it should be some fun.
