Forums - Nintendo - Capcom: "We haven't decided" yet whether to put Resident Evil 5 on the Wii

Hmm..though.

I played RE5 with my friend's xbox360 and I found it nice but not as good as I expected it. It was like a RE4 Deluxe with GOW controls Dx Maybe I should play it a little more but I am not dying for it..

I also agree with aiden.cronus, I prefer a RE made from the ground to the wii that is not a rail shooter (not that they are bad but you know) , maybe RE6?

But knowing capcom I won't doubt they will do something in the future..and I guess that it could be ok, but I wouldn't hold my breath

People still care about this game?

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Capcom is making the right decision.

Too late to expect anything but lack luster sales. Considering that some of their staff seem anti-Wii lately this would be nothing but ammunition for further no answers.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

A little late, but better then never.

I am more interested in a Wii version then the PS360 version.

So long as they learn their lesson from CTYD about not shoehorning technology, i'd be willing to give it a shot.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

RE5 Wii Confirmed...

But I doubt too many still care for it now...

Considering how RE5 is apparently just RE4's engine on steroids (kinda like Chris, really), I doubt shoehorning will be an issue.

Maybe they can just ditch the girl (and forced co-op) entirely, thus making the whole thing easier on the Wii.

I'll cast my vote for something fresh, thanks. RE5 didn't seem very compelling.
