Why didt everybody just sleep it was last nite

Because I have a busy schedule. I go to bed at 6 a.m. after spending from 5 p.m. -2 a.m. playing games. Then I wake up at 9 a.m. to check to see if I missed any news. e.e I thought it was obvious.

I took apart my media center, cleared out an area in my living room, and removed all my electronics starting around 11PM (got a new media center delivered this morning) so I was up for a while after bieng finished and bored. :-p

Took the time to watch/read some reviews though and I have to say I'm a little more excited for inFamous now.

Awesome. If you don't have the demo, it should be up on the Playstation Store tonight. So I'd give it a try if you haven't already.

I woudl gladly download it but my PS3 is at the office at the moment since I've been using some down time to "research" other games and probably won't bring it home until Friday night.  :-p

It's great, I've knocked like 5 games off my back catalog.  ^^

Which games have you finished?

  • Fallout 3 (360) -- I didn't finish it but I'm done with it.  I got to that point that I get to in most Bethesda games where it just becomes stupid amounts of easy and I have absolutely no drive to finish.  The same thing happened in Oblivion but with Fallout 3 it at least kept me interested much longer and I'm still curious about the story, I just don't care to play the game anymore.  If I do pick it up again, it will probably be just to blow up Megaton and to save Megaton just to see if there are any achievements in it (please don't tell me if there are or aren't).
  • Call of Duty 4 (360) -- I absolutely loved this game and it made me want Modern Warfare 2 first day.  I honestly did not expect to love this game as much as I did.  I loved it so much I might even give the multiplayer a go.
  • Freedom Fighters (GC/PS2) -- friend suggested it and it was a lot of fun.  Got to a point where I couldn't get much further there towards the end so I didn't finish it, but it was still a pretty fun game.  It had its flaws but I see why people like it so much (and I'm one of those people now).  I started it on Gamecube  because it had the higher overall score but I hated the controls so I moved to PS2.  That's weird because I usually love the Gamecube controller but I just didn't like it on this game and didn't really worry about buying the game again since I payed under $15 for both copies.
  • Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3) -- I already knew I liked this game, I just stopped last time before getting to the zombie part.  I finished it this time and enjoyed it just as much as last time, now I just know for sure I do in fact hate the zombie part.  It was a nice change of pace, it was just stupid and went on too long.  I also had many fights wirg the cover system and this game reaffirms my hate for quick time events.  It's one thing to have a game full of them, but it's even worse to have the occasional completely random one that fires off with absolutely no warning.  That shit aint cool and I hope Uncharted 2 doesn't do that.  Still though, Uncahrted is easily my favorite PS3 game and in my list of top games.
  • Killzone 2 (PS3) -- Okay, I'm not finished with this one yet, I'm a little over 1/3 of the way through it.  Like before, I love the atmosphere but the gameplay is just alright.  Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it, I just hate using the cover because it's so inconsistent and it has some pacing issues that just bother me.  That, and these people obviously don't know how to do collectibles and trophies.  What the fuck is with having to collect every collectible before getting the trophy?  Since I missed one of the shooting the symbols in an early level, I have no desire to shoot anymore.  They should just give you a trophy like Uncharted does: a trophy for every five or some incremental system.  Don't do only one trophy for collecting all of them.  I've collected all of the intelligence so far so we'll see how that goes.

And next up for games that I will likely play to completion (I don't really count things like Punch-Out!! and ExciteBot in there since those are forever games) is going to be No One Lives Forever 2.

Friend told me something about a tricycle chase and I just can't pass that up.

As a FYI, in Killzone 2 you can replay sub-portions of the game and collect things you missed. So you should have just kept on shooting and collecting and went back to the one you missed later.

However, after about 1/2 way through the game, I just flat out couldn't find them

Killzone has a few incremental trophies, but it also rewards a lot more for completing the story and beating bosses quickly. That takes a possible number of trophies away.

And I'm glad you liked Uncharted, COD4, and KZ2. All great games.

Well, you could get into the spirit of things and replay Shadow of the Colossus next (http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=73513&page=1)

But I didn't actually like Shadow of the Colossus.  Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad game by any means, but after killing a few of them I just didn't care anymore.
